The one thing I remember hearing is that devices needed to be fully up to date on Windows Updates.:S. I don't know if you all have found the solution but this should fix it. Just tested and resolved with the following process. In the case that you migrate a system or some other sort of anomaly causes an issue with Outlook to where it shows no search results this is how you fix it.

This morning when I opened Outlook, I got a message to say that it is 'Repairing Main profile' 'Copying Records to a new profile'. It has now been doing this for a number of hours and I haven't been able to access Outlook. I have tried deleting Outlook and reinstalling (possibly shouldn't have done that, but there we are, it's done now) as all my email accounts are imap so no problem with lost emails.
